The focus for the CRC HOKA Distance Camp is training, motivation, and fun. It is recommended for experienced and motivated runners. All abilities are welcome. The only requirement is the desire to be better.
Athletes should prepare for a full week of training, and have run consistently the weeks prior to the start of camp. In addition to daily training, runners will gain valuable knowledge from “the best of the best,” in the Charlotte area on topics such as motivation, nutrition, bio mechanics, goal setting, mental toughness, and injury prevention.
Each group will have college runners as their leader for the week in order to offer insight and encouragement.
Our goal is a motivating and meaningful week of running without injury and overtraining. Run routes throughout the week will include McAlpine Park Greenway, Colonel Frances Beatty Park, Providence High School track, McMullen Greenway, and Freedom Park.
